Continuous Blue Screens Occuring at Random

All of my drivers are up to date (I had checked from HP's website), and the bios are even up to date to the latest version.
Windows is also updated to the latest version.
I have tried my best at fixing the problem myself, but little progress I made.
So,
I figured that creating an account and asking the community would be a good idea.
To describe the problem, as the title suggests, the blue screens seem to happen at random, but through a blue screen checker software, I learned that there are certain files
mentioned continuously; these file names, are as follows:
1.
athrx.sys
2.
ntoskrnl.exe
3.
dxgmms1.sys
4, ndis.sys
5.
NETIO.SYS
Because I do not want to have to resort to re-installing Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, I just wanted to know if there is any solution to these blue screens.
Below, I have provided a download link to the files if anyone wants to look at my .dmp files in the Windows/Minidump folder.
When you get to the link, go to file, then download to download the .zip file.
Thanks,
CaptainPawn

Manually editing the Windows registry

Caution: Unless you an advanced PC user, please do not edit the Windows registry manually.

Because of this risk, we highly recommend using a trusted registry cleaner such as SmartPCFixer Using a registry cleaner automates the process of finding invalid registry entries, missing file references (like the one causing your MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION error), and broken links within the registry. A backup is automatically created before each scan, with the ability to undo any changes in a single click, protecting you against the possibility of PC damage. The best part is that repairing registry errors can also dramatically improve system speed and performance.

  • Click the Start button.
  • Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT hit ENTER yet!
  • While holding CTRL-Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.
  • You will be prompted with a permission dialog box.
  • Click Yes.
  • A black box will open with a blinking cursor.
  • Type "regedit" and hit ENTER.
  • In the Registry Editor, select the Error 0x9C-related key (eg. Windows Operating System) you want to back up.
  • From the File menu, choose Export.
  • In the Save In list, select the folder where you want to save the Windows Operating System backup key.
  • In the File Name box, type a name for your backup file, such as "Windows Operating System Backup".
  • In the Export Range box, be sure that "Selected branch" is selected.
  • Click Save.
  • The file is then saved with a .reg file extension.
  • You now have a backup of your MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION-related registry entry.

The next steps in manually editing your registry will not be discussed in this article due to the high risk of damaging your system. If you would like to learn more about manual registry editing, please see the links below.

Combining Two Columns of Data in a Pivot Table

I have two columns of text with the same type of information in both columns.
I want to use a pivot table to combine the columns so that all text strings are alphabetized in the first column of the pivot table and the count of those text strings
is in the second column.
 For example:
State 1      State 2
MA               NY
CT                MA
CA               WV
TX               CA
MA              VA
I want the pivot table to look at both columns and return the counts of each distinct value as follows:
State      Count
MA             3
CA             2
NY             1
TX             1
VA             1
WV            1
Thanks!

Pivot tables don't work that way.
You could create a list of states in one column, and use COUNTIF formulas to count the number of entries in the column next to it.
For example if your table is in A1:B6, and with a list of states in D2:D8, enter this formula in E2:
=COUNTIF($A$2:$B$6,D2)
and fill down.
Another option is to copy/paste the second data column (without the header) below the first one, then create a pivot table based on the combined column.

  • Download the Microsoft Windows ISO (installation device) from the following website:
  • Users must select the appropriate ISO, either 32 bit or 64 bit, depending upon their individual computer.
  • Extract the ISO file to a separate USB device or burn the program to a compact disc.
  • Run the Microsoft Windows 10 upgrade directly from the software that you have thus created.

Can't pull up Website [Solved]

Can't pull up Website

I cannot pull up a website after upgrading to Windows 7.  It's an https:// website that I could pull up before (it's my companies site).  When I enter the address it just sits there, it never pulls it up.  I have looked at my settings and I can't figure
out what is wrong.  I can pull it up on my daughters computer that also has windows 7.
